Howdy, Geeks? This guide will teach you “How to get Google Voice account Verification outside the USA” or how you can claim a Google Voice Number from any part of the world. Read this guide fully and follow each and every instruction. This process below is tried and tested recently and 100% working.
Google Voice is a free service that allows people to choose a local number for voicemail and for calling purposes. You can also link your Google Voice number with your cell phone number and/or landline. With that, you can receive a call on all your phones, easily forward calls to transcribed voicemail when you are unavailable.
I’ve been using a free Google Voice phone number with an OBIHAI OBi200 phone adapter. The service and voice quality has been perfect. If you want a free home phone number and service and you’ve got a high-speed internet connection at home (I’m using Cox Cable Internet service), then the OBi200 coupled with a Google Voice number really does provide reliable, high quality, free home phone service.
How To Get A Free Google Voice Phone Number
To get a free Google Voice phone number, you need to be in the United States, and to get a local number,
You will also need to have an existing US phone number. You need an existing phone number because Google wants to call you with a verification code. That way they will verify that you are in the US & verify your Google Voice account when you first set it up.
Also, if you want to record a personalized voicemail greeting message, you will need a phone number that you can call from (you can’t use Hangouts or your Google Voice number to recorded a voicemail greeting).
I know that Google Voice Account verification is no longer working with VOIP numbers. So I thought to try the same thing using FreedomPop GSM sim. And the good news is that I was able to use my FreedomPop GSM sim phone number for Google account verification. Moreover, with that, I was also able to record a personalized voicemail message too.
Steps to follow to get a Free Google Voice Phone Number
Before you proceed to STEP 1, make sure that you are using the US based proxy server. You can use either of them:
Hotshied: Download Hotshield
Ultrasurf: Download Ultra Surf
Once you have them, use the proxy server and open the link of Step 1.
Step 1: Google Voice
Step 2: Create Account or Login to Existing Google Voice Account
Click “Create Account” to create a new Google (Gmail) Account. Or if you already have a Google (Gmail) account and you want to add a Google Voice phone number to it,

Step 4: Accept Google Voice Terms & Conditions
Google will create a Google Voice Account for you. Notice that, it says “Google Voice is only available in the US and Google will need your existing US phone number to get a Google Voice Number”. But don’t worry move on.
Step 4: Next you will see a screen that says, “Set up your Google Voice number. You can choose a brand new number from Google. Also, you can use your existing mobile number to get the full set of Google Voice features. I’m selecting “I want a new number“.
Step 5: Add A forwarding Number for Google Voice Account Verification
Next, you will see a screen that says “Add a forwarding phone. Before choosing a Google Voice number, please add a forwarding phone that will ring when that number is called. You can add more forwarding phones later.”
YOU MUST ENTER A VALID FUNCTIONING PHONE NUMBER. Google will call this phone number and you will need to key in a two-digit verification code.
Note:Although Google says that you can’t use a VOIP phone number, but when I used one of my FreedomPop GLOBAL sim phone numbers and it worked for me. I have had other people who also had success getting a new Google Voice number using their FreedomPop GSM sim phone number. I’ve also read of some people who reported it didn’t work, but I’m not sure if it was because of the FreedomPop phone number or something else. If you need a phone number to get a Google Voice phone number, consider spending $1.99 or $0.99 to get a FreedomPop LTE GSM sim and use the FreedomPop phone number. You will need to install and use the FreedomPop Messaging app to use the FreedomPop phone number.
Click “Continue” after your enter the forwarding phone number.
Step 6: Accept Call From Google
Next, you will see a screen that says, “Verify your phone. We’re going to call you at [your phone number] to verify your phone. Click Call me now below and enter the following verification code:” Select “Call me now.”
Step 7: Verify Google Voice Account
After you’ve received the call from Google, heard the automated voice tell you the two digit code, and then entered the verification number, your account is verified and you get to choose your new Google Voice number. You can find a new number based on your area code, your zip code, your city, and or a word, phrase, or number.
